JSPOA - Friendship Center is a unique senior center, serving exclusively a population of mentally and physically frail older adults (60+) who have become socially isolated and partially dependent upon others for their daily living.

The participants include people with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, developmentally disabled, the chronically mentally ill and physically frail seniors. Friendship Center's supportive and structured environment enables these mentally and physically frail participants to safely atStend reality oriented programs designed to promote their enjoyment of "normal" daily activities.

The specialized activities enable them to identify and maximize their strengths, enhance their functional abilities, stimulate, and broaden their scope of reality and promote socialization with their peers. A nutritious lunch is served and transportation is available to Friendship Center
