SENIOR EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
The Senior Community Service Employment Program is a federally-sponsored employment and training program targeted to low-income older adults who want to enter or re-enter the workforce.
Applicants must be unemployed, 55 years of age or older and low income. The program offers eligible participants paid 20 hour weekly on the job training assignments in public and non-profit organizations. The goal of the program is to help participants find unsubsidized employment and achieve self-sufficiency.
