Senior Computer Training

JSPOA, in collaboration with NCLA Inc., provides it’s senior members with computer training to better prepare them to use today’s technology. JSPOA’s approach is to use peer to peer or one on one instruction. This method provides a comfortable environment where seniors who have absolutely no computer experience can relax and enjoy the training. NCLA advises and provides guidance with the course curriculum and trains the JSPOA volunteers and staff who function as the Peer instructors.

In addition to training, JSPOA at many of it’s Senior Centers, provides computers where members can practice their computer skills, learn new skills, fine tune their resumes and perform many other online tasks and function. So drop by the Jackson Center, the Rockaway Center, the International Center or the Shelton Center and  sign up for a class.
