The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a federally-sponsored employment and training program targeting low-income older adults who want to enter or re-enter the workforce. Applicants must be unemployed, 55 years of age or older and low income. SCSEP is an equal opportunity program and we will work with veterans, persons with limited English, low literacy, disabilities, or have low employment prospects. The program offers eligible participants paid 20 hour weekly on the job training assignments in public and non-profit organizations. The goal of the program is to help participants find non-subsidized employment and achieve self-sufficiency.
